Answering these basic questions can help you think about your design approach.

Who is this project for?

Before starting your model consider this simple question, “Who will use this project?” Once you have that answered, the next question to answer is how will they use this project?

What is the project?

Define your project. Is it an open plaza or square in the center of the city? Is it a statue? Is it a building? If its a building, what’s the size of the building? Is it the size of a house? A shopping mall? Maybe a skyscraper?

Where is the project?

Where is this project located? Is it in the middle of the block? Is it downtown? Is it in a vacant lot? Is it in the sky? Under one of the lakes? Your only limited to your imagination.

Your design can be as abstract as you want or it can be a standard piece of architecture.

You will customize a pair of Nike shoes to represent your architecture

There is no limit to the shoe you use to create your design concept, prize is not a concern. As long as the shoe is on NikeByYou, feel free to use it!

We will select the best concepts and students will win their shoes!
